1 Applicant’s Request
The applicant must submit a request to the President of the State Council of Education, requesting the equivalence of studies completed abroad to Brazilian Secondary Education, according to the model provided by CEE/MS.
The applicant must submit a request to the Presidency of CEE/MS for the equivalence of Secondary Education, through an administrative proceeding accompanied by the following documents:

Copy of a personal identification document.

Copies of documents proving the studies completed in Brazil.

Document proving completion of a course equivalent to Brazilian Secondary Education, completed abroad.
2 Documentation Completed Abroad
The documentation referred to in item III must comply with the requirements established by current legislation:
- Signature of the competent school authority.
- Authentication by the competent authority representing Brazil in the country where the institution that issued the documents is located.
- Official translation duly formalized by a sworn public translator, for documents written in a foreign language, except when presented in Spanish.

In order to formalize the equivalence of studies, foreign students must provide a document proving the regularity of their stay in Brazil.
